Personal Budget Planning

The most important part about this project is helping people gain control over their finances. I created this system and published it online so that others could benefit. However, sometimes it takes a more personal attention to make things happen.

I take piano lessons from a professional jazz pianist. He tells me that the brain makes new connections by just watching someone do something. You can read music and learn theory, but the knowledge you gain from seeing a person physically achieve the act is incomparable. It’s almost as if this makes the task become real and obtainable.

The same applies to budgeting your money. All the information you need is available in my ebook and expanded upon in this blog. As you probably know, this knowledge isn’t going to budget your money for you. You can’t read a book and magically have better control of your finances. You have to get up, write down your finances and pay your bills. Somehow though, this becomes easier with a coach. By sitting down with another person and creating a budget, it becomes real and obtainable.

The Service

For the next few months, while I am creating the next version of the free ebook, I am offering the budget coaching again. The charge for this service will be $100. It includes three 30 minute sessions.

First Meeting

The first meeting we will explore your individual situation. We will talk about your income and your expenses. We will develop a personalized system for recording and paying your bills in the short term. You will be assigned a few easy action items to be completed before our next meeting.

Second Meeting

The second meeting takes place two weeks after the first meeting. During this meeting we will go over the information you have gathered since the first meeting and flesh out your budget. You will now have all the information you need to get started on controlling your finances.

Third Meeting

The third meeting is one month after the second meeting. This gives you time to live the system and discover any areas that need more attention. We will go over your budget, evaluate your progress and setup a long term plan for success.

Getting Started

The only thing you need to do to get started is send me an email with your preferred time. Once we agree to meet, you secure your slot by paying the fee via paypal. No prepatory work is required. Will we simply meet over instant messenger or skype and start working out your budget. If you gather up all your expenses, that would be helpful, but the focus here is getting started on budgeting your money. I want to make this as easy as possible.
